Today you will fly in a light aircraft to Bwindi where your official Guide will be waiting to meet and greet you, you will be transferred to the lodge where you will relax. You could also decide to spend the afternoon visiting the Batwa pigmy community and learning about their way of life.

You will have breakfast in the early morning, then leave for a briefing at the park headquarters before being led by an experienced ranger into the dense forest in search of mountain gorillas. You will watch the gorillas go about their daily lives, and if you’re lucky, you might even get a chance to get close to them. You will take part in a tour to the Batwa pigmy village in the afternoon to learn about their way of life.

You will be driven to Kihihi Airstrip today to catch a domestic flight to Entebbe, where you will connect to your journey back home.
